Position: Automotive Assembly Technician
Pay Rate/Salary: $30/hour
Location: Stockton, CA
Schedule: Monday - Friday , 8am - 5pm
Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Automotive Assembly Technician to work in our Stockton,
California manufacturing site. In this line position reporting to the Production Supervisor, you
will be responsible for assisting with factory floor activities that produce ARGO system components.
We are looking for candidates that are ready and excited to take on the many responsibilities
associated with running a hi-tech production facility. Your success will be
determined as much by your passion and self-motivation as by your skills and knowledge.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform the installation and replacement of electrical and mechanical components used in all electric vehicle platforms and product lines.
- Follow detailed work instructions to accomplish tasks.
- Ensure quality standards are met and vehicles are ready for delivery to end users.
- Follow the assembly processes in pursuit of overall quality and cost reduction with
- adherence to established standards, methods and procedures
- Support Production Supervisor in establishing standards, methods and processes as
- required.
- Make suggestions for overall product quality and cost improvements.
- Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.
- Ability to follow strict quality checks and protocols.
- Follow all company safety procedures and protocols
Dress Code:
Steel toe boots are required
Education:
General Education Diploma – extra schooling in related fields is a plus
Qualifications:
- 3+ years experience in Automotive Industry required
- Ability to read work instructions
- Knowledge of standard assembly tools, including air tools, electric drivers, torque tools
- and crimp tools is required
- Familiarity with EV Hardware
- Good communication skills- verbal and written
- Good problem solving / analytical skills
- Experience with standard office computer programs to record assembly activities and
- reference assembly instructions.
Work Environment:
Regularly required to sit, stand, bend and lift up to 30 pounds.
Occasional exposure to elements such as odor, noise, dust, heat, cold or chemicals
within OSHA and California work environment statutes.
